It's easy when you have receivers that are open all the time and an offensive line that never lets anyone touch you. It makes it fun to play.

And no matter how good you are you have to work at it. It's non-stop every day, every day. The best the offensive line feels is when the season starts.

The success I had as a player, or the career I had as a player, is often based on the guys you play beside, the guys you play with. Playing on the offensive line, you're only as good as your weakest guy up front. I was blessed to play with a lot of guys for a long time.

To me, polls are like approval ratings for presidents are like an offensive line, right. And if an offensive line is weak, that means the defense is empowered and emboldened.

When I played pro football, I never set out to hurt anyone deliberately - unless it was, you know, important, like a league game or something.
